Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service

The Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service provides support, advocacy, referrals and information for women experiencing domestic violence.

Women are helped to obtain effective legal protection by applying for an Apprehended Violence Order. This service operates at Hornsby, Manly and North Sydney local Courts.

The service also refers women and children to other services to meet their needs, such as, legal, housing, financial, health and counselling.

This service assists all women, including those from diverse cultural backgrounds, older women, women in same sex relationships, Aboriginal women and women who are isolated.
