New ELC to open in Woy Woy - 2016

New CatholicCare Early Learning Centre announced for Woy Woy

A week before Christmas CatholicCare received word that its application for State Government funding to build a third Early Learning & Care Centre on the central coast, to be co-located with St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School at Woy Woy, had been successful. The new centre will be the fifth ELC provided by CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay.

Family Day Care Successfully Re-Accredited

Waitara Family Centre’s Family Day Care team has passed the recent assessment of their service
with flying colours, and are a re-accredited service meeting the Australian government’s National Quality Standards in all 7 areas. The program exceeded standards in both relationships with children and building collaborative partnerships with families and communities.

“Early Learning Doesn’t Only Happen at Pre-school!”

Many kinds of Centacare Children’s Services cater for early education and care within the Diocese. One such service is “Family Day Care” based at Waitara Family Centre. Family Day Care offers a unique service for young children and their families by providing care and education in a registered home with a trained, approved Centacare Broken Bay educator.
